Hassan Qadri Strikes Gold, Faisal Gharab Earns Bronze in M1x 1000m

The Saudi Rowing Team continued its impressive continental run by achieving a double podium finish at the 2025 Asian Rowing Cup II, held in Shangrao, China .

Saudi rower Hassan Qadri captured the gold medal in the Men’s Single Sculls (M1x – 1000m) event, while teammate Faisal Gharab secured the bronze medal in the same category  — marking a proud moment for the Kingdom on Asian waters.

This milestone crowns an intensive preparation phase led by Head Coach Aleksandra and Team Manager Fahad Alshammari, reflecting the Saudi Rowing Federation’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the national team’s presence in continental and international competitions.

The Federation praised the athletes’ performance, discipline, and fighting spirit throughout the races, emphasizing that such results represent the outcome of continuous investment in athlete development and high-performance programs.
